Pay it Forward: My Turn

I won this PIF contest a couple of weeks ago and, as part of winning, I must now hold my own contest.

Here’s what you’ll win: a few of my favorite things!!! I'll put together a mix of fun things that I love and enjoy! Also included will be a mystery item from the contest that I won. It'll be a fun package, I promise!

Here are the rules:

1. Respond here with your name and email by midnight Tuesday the 14th of October. Also please share your favorite tradition of Fall. Mine is the focus of gratitude!! I love chatting with my kids about all of the things that they are grateful for. I learn so much!

2. A random comment will be chosen on Wednesday morning, October 15, using a random number generator. I will contact you for your mailing address and send you out your prize.

3. You agree to choose one item from your package to add to the package you will create for the winner of your contest.

That’s enough rules. Time to comment and get on the PIF train.

It's always so weird to be the first commenter! I'm not sure if it helps or hurts my chances of winning. I love this idea, and might have to start it myself, even if I don't win yours.
I have many favorite things about fall, but I'll limit it to two. I love carving pumpkins, especially the gooey scraping out the middle part. And I love food made with pumpkin- pie, bread, fudge, cheese cake, etc. Yum!

One of my favorite fall things is the fall colors. I love driving around looking at all the beautiful trees turning red, orange and yellow. I also love decorating my home with all my fall things. I think it makes it easier for me to accept the fact that colder weather is on its way.

I guess I am not officially entering this contest because I can't comply with the rules. I don't have a favorite Fall tradition.

I dread the day that I finally have to pull my fall and winter clothes out of the attic.

My kids have to beg me to decorate for Halloween.

The rain and cold make me want to curl up in a ball and not get out of bed until April.

Sorry, but for me Fall is too depressing.

My favorite thing about FALL is WALKING!! I can finally get outside with the kids, squish all three of them in the double stroller and just WALK! Sometimes we have a destination and other times we don't. I love to feel the cooler air and burn a few calories too! Hey why not!

I love the Fall, especially here in Arizona. I love being abvle to open the windows and let fresh air in. We don't have any traditions per se but I do love this time of year, especially in Oregon when the leaves begin to change, beautiful!

I LOVE that summer is finally over. We can go to the park, bake without turning up the A/C and decorate! One tradition I love doing with my kids is "Dinner in a Pumpkin". It's like a ground beef, rice mixture that we actually cook in the pumpkin. It's easy and fun and they all get to help and you can roast the seeds after too. We love it!
