I fell in love with Kevin Bacon again.
I just watched "Rails and Ties," a little known film starring Kevin Bacon and Marcia Gay Harden and directed by Alison Eastwood (Clint's daughter).
Kevin was amazing... I really think he is an amazing actor!!!
The story seems simple and unrealistic... but Kevin Bacon was outstanding! His performance was spot-on!!!

The current giveaway is a project... either a stamping project, or a paper-crafting project. The pages to this calendar come blank... you get to add your personal, creative touch!
This calendar is a perpetual calendar. One page for each month... you add the special events (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.) and then you use the calendar year after year.
Included in this giveaway is the blank calendar only. Stamps and supplies not included. However, I will inform the winner of my birthday so they can add that! That is a bonus!!
To enter... just leave a comment to this post by midnight Tuesday, February 3. Link this giveaway to your blog and you'll be entered a total of three times!!!

Wanda: When Zoe was a baby we spoon-fed her every meal.
Wanda: With Hammie, we monitored every bite, but we let him feed himself.
Wanda: And now with Wren, I just toss tiny bits of food on her tray and let her do the rest.
Darryl: So are you afraid were not giving the third baby enough attention?
Wanda: No. I think we wasted a lot of effort on the first two.

It seems every activity that my kids do comes with a t-shirt. Every race, every tournament, every season, etc. These are sentimental treasures, but seriously, how many t-shirts can any given person have?
I have started a box for each of my kids for these special t-shirts. My dream is to make a quilt, or have a quilt made for each kid with these t-shirts. My cousin Kerry has made one, and recently I saw my friend Heidi's quilt that she made for her husband. I love the idea.
My sewing skills are... well, not really skills. So, I am inclined to have these quilts made for my kids by a professional. Click here for an option that I recently found. Seems like a good deal to me. The company, Ticche and Bea, have lots of fun kits. Take a look around their site!!!

First... let me apologize for not posting the winner earlier.
And second... it always surprises me when Randomgenerator randomly selects #1. I don't know why, but it feels weird.
But, having said that... I'm excited for Nancy (comment #1) who is the winner of the Life Picture Puzzle Book. I'm sure you, and/or your mom, will love it!

This shaving cream claims to be able to used wet or dry... that is what first intrigued me. It is a true cream, not a soapy foam that eventually dries out your skin. I love it!!
The instructions say: Apply a thin layer. Shave. Touch. Smile.
About $5. Look at CVS Pharmacy and Target for this!

It is fun and a great activity for the entire family! We love these books at our house. Each puzzle lists a 'time to beat' based on the difficulty of the puzzle and the number of changes in the puzzle. We love to try to beat the time and to see who can find all the changes the quickest.

I found this funny little story in the September 2008 Reader's Digest. It was part of an article called "Our 50 Funniest (True!) Stories." It was a story submitted by reader Catherine Burns. Enjoy!
