Shades of Light

I just found a great website... Shades of Light. My mom needs a new lamp in her adorable guest room and either one of these would be perfect!! Shades of Light has lots of great lamps and some neat looking mirrors!

Restoration Hardware Factory Cart

I need a coffee table for my living room. I would LOVE this one from Restoration Hardware. It is impractical as there is no storage... but sometimes I find myself tired of being so practical. So... having said that... this is the coffee table that I would LOVE! It is $910. Click here for more information about this restored factory cart.

This would make for a far more practical coffee table. It is also from Restoration Hardware and is called the Mayfair Steamer Trunk. I love it! I could store all sorts of extra pillows, blankets and even some seasonal decorations in it! And it is still very interesting. It is $1700, so I guess practicality has a price! Restoration Hardware - Luxury Plush Throw

I have two words for these throw blankets from Restoration Hardware...
BEST.EVER.

I am not kidding. I received the ivory throw as a gift for Christmas. It took my husband about 48 hours to adopt the throw as his own. Thankfully, his birthday is in early January, and I was able to plan a trip to Restoration Hardware to get him his very own. I bought him the chocolate throw.

We love our throws!! They are the perfect size to snuggle under while watching tv... and when we are lucky enough to get a Sunday afternoon nap... P.E.R.F.E.C.T.

I do have one complaint...

our local Restoration Hardware is across town, not somewhere I go regularly. I need to get two more... for my teenagers and I've yet to plan a trip to get them. Maybe this weekend.

And I know... I could order them online. But it is too dang fun to shop at Restoration Hardware in person.

WallCandy Art

It is clear to me that vinyl decals for the home decoration is a fad that is going to be around for awhile... thanks to creative people and companies like WallCandy Art. They've taken the traditional wall art and made it a chalkboard. You still get the convenience of the vinyl... easy to put up, easy to take down and a pretty cheap decorative tool. But in addition, you get the fun of the decal being a chalkboard!!! I love this idea and think the possibilities are endless.

My teenagers are consistently having to memorize things... I'm always making posters for them. If I had a chalkboard in their rooms, maybe even in the bathroom, I could write what they are needing to memorize. Then, I could even erase part of the quote to help them master the memorization... oh the ideas!!!

Fun stuff!

Single Stone Studios

Single Stone Studios has taken vinyl lettering and signs to all new heights!! Check out these fun samples from their shop! Shelly also has a blog... check it out here!!

This clock can display anytime that YOU wish for it to display! I think this would be perfect for a baby's nursery displaying the time of birth! You could have the clock made in a vinyl that matches the nursery!! OR how about displaying the exact time you said "I DO"... that would be so cool! OR any other time that has personal significance!

How cool would these flowers be in an entry way? I also thought they would be great in a guest bathroom... a space that is normally small! What a statement!

Remember... you can personalize the color choices to match your own decor!

I am putting this on my wishlist. I love Today's Menu!! I like the classic look of it being in black, but am considering a sage green to match my kitchen! Or even a brown???
