We recently tried the new Romano's Macaroni Grill Restaurant Favorites for a family dinner! We tried the Creamy Basil variety... and...
we
loved
it!
My fifteen year old son actually had three servings!
I made two boxes, and used 2 lbs of chicken. That served three adults, and three children... plus enough for two additional meals for a lunch this week. (And that is with the triple servings that my son had!)
The box said that the prep time is 20 minutes. I was very skeptical!! But... wouldn't you know... it was ready in just UNDER 20 minutes. I had to hold up serving dinner because I didn't have everything else ready! I served this meal with sauteed fresh green beans and a crusty bread!
It was a perfect meal... easy and very delicious! And it appealed to all ages in my family... adults to young children.
As a member of MyBlogSpark, I am able to offer 3 READERS a gift basket that includes a sample of a Romano's Macaroni Grill Restaurant Favorites, coupons to try the additional varieties, a colander, a spoon and a grater!! It is an AWESOME gift basket. AND THREE READERS will be selected to win this great offer!!
So... leave a comment by midnight, Monday, May 4 to be entered into the drawing! Winners will be selected by random.org and will be posted on Tuesday morning! Please make sure you leave a way for me to contact you! In your comment, let me know what your favorite thing to talk about at the dinner table is! I'd love to know. Me me me! Oh, I hope being 1st doesn't lower my chances.
One thing we do NOT talk about at the dinner table is video games or computer games. We usually talk about school or scheduling (pretty boring, too).
woo hoo! I am first! We like to talk about what happened during the day at school/work. We also talk about current events (especially when my 8yo asks a question about something she heard about on tv/radio). And also just the typical banter of my 6yo boy teasing my 8yo girl.
Oh, I am so throwing my hat in the ring on this one! I do the same thing at the dinner table that my parents did with us growing up. We go around the table (usually by age) saying our best/favorite thing that happened today and the worst thing that happened to us. I use to censor out the worst thing because I thought it would be better to only focus on the good. But I've put the bad one back in because I think we all need to be understood and we, as a family, are the ones to come to for support. Plus, that's more real. Not only great things happen to us all the time. Plus, I wouldn't find out about a lot of this stuff if we didn't do this!
By the way, that last post was from Rebecca, as I didn't realize I was posting from our other blog and not my personal one!
This is great!! We usually just open up to anything great or not so much! I have 6 kids so anything to keep them talking works for me!! It's less intimidating over a great yummy dinner!

pick me! I want to try that! and I want the awesome colander!!
TV programs, food, family activities, weather! (currently it's snowing here! Big mushy wet flakes) etc.
I love Macaroni Grill, and that meal sounds declicious. My husband is so picky too, so its nice to know I have one more option of something I can cook that he'll eat.
This sounds great! It is just my husband and I at home now. We have raised 5 wonderful children, who are now raising their own amazing families. My husband is now retired (we are so not old enough for that!) We talk about the news, family items and other things over dinner. I would love to win this oh so easy sounding meal!!
Yummy yummy! Fun giveaway!
Yummy! We talk about our day.
i'd love to enter! italian food is a favorite in our house :)
